OXYA I

The first living and breathing textile fiber - OXYA. It is an engineered living biomaterial with living microalgae cells. Those cells actively photosynthesize - producing oxygen and capturing CO2. That makes OXYA a unique product in the textile industry because it is entirely biodegradable and biobased, a genuinely sustainable and biological carbon-capturing unit simultaneously. Furthermore, OXYA is not an inert material; in time, it reduces the carbon footprint of its users and stores the carbon in the form of biomass. With that, OXYA is solving two major problems in the industry.
