OXYA

OXYA is a multiform-multipurpose class of material that contains living microorganisms such as algae, fungi, and bacteria immersed into 12 biopolymers and ingredients. It is designed to provide conditions for cells to survive for the longest possible time and exhibit their function - photosynthesis, carbon fixation, growth, etc.

OXYA living materials have up to six months of metabolic activity observed in gas exchange chambers, and sustain its product performance and properties after the carbon capture capacity expires.

Our latest product line is designed to maximize photosynthesis and carbon storage (biomass increase).

OXYA Paint

OXYA Paint has state-of-the-art paint capacities PLUS unique qualities from the microalgae inside. It can be brushed or sprayed on walls and ceilings.

Most suitable for indoor microclimate.

No additional maintenance is required.

OXYA Foil

A multilayered foil/sheet form of the material. Suitable for window coverage (inside) due to transparency capacity. Indoor objects (space dividers, panels, lighting bodies) can be fabricated successfully out of it.

Indirect sunlight and occasional pulverization with a tailored-made solution increase the material lifespan.

The material was demonstrated at Milan Design Week, 2024, and Biofabricate, 2024

OXYA Fiber

The most complex form of the material. It can be blended with other fibers and used for interior objects, wall panels, and furniture. Due to diffusion requirements similar to our foil, it needs indirect sunlight and occasional pulverization with a tailored-made solution to increase the material lifespan.

The material was demonstrated as a garment

on London Fashion Week 2023
